Who are we?
What do we do?
What do we stand for?
What are our beliefs?
How do we assist clients?
Knightsbridge was founded in 1986 around a core conviction that there are
significant benefits for organizations of all types to continually seek to
improve. We believe that people within organizations are vital assets, just
as financial, physical and technological assets are. If effectively developed
and managed, people become strategic assets to help provide a strong impetus
toward adapting to change and achieving organizational success.
As we have had the opportunity to work with both public and private sector
organizations, certain common themes emerge that support our underlying beliefs.
Most individuals want to be a worthwhile member of a worthwhile team. Given a
supportive environment, they are anxious and able to make a significant
contribution that will make their jobs more secure and their organizations
more successful.
For this to happen, leadership must establish a shared vision and values that
clearly articulates the future direction and provides for achievement of the
strategic goals for the enterprise. Management's energies must be focused on
aligning what people do (i.e., their job related tasks and activities) with
key goals that support the vision. Employees must be empowered and provided
with access to information and other essential resources. Effective
procedures and methods must be implemented so that all employees can exploit
their knowledge to solve problems and make process improvements that are
valued by customers and all other stakeholders.
Implementing changes that become a permanent part of the organization has
proven to be a difficult task for management. For this reason Knightsbridge
utilizes the latest PC technology and world class software in order to support
our organizational development processes.
We have made strategic alliances with leading edge organizations in order to
take full advantage of their products and services. They include:
- Birkman International of Houston for
self-management, teaming and HR Lifecycle support.
- Ventana East of New York for
use in an electronic meeting setting utilizing powerful groupware and networked
PC's.
- Virtual CEO of San Juan Capistrano,
CA provides Internet-based applications to radically transform the way all
organizations evaluate and improve their performance.
- High Performance Systems of
Hanover, New Hampshire provides advanced PC software to dynamically model
complex organizational processes in order to play out various scenarios, thus
providing the power to test key strategies without implementation costs and
risks.
- HR for Hire of Allentown specializes in
a broad range of support for human resources functions, including very
personalized outplacement services.
- Dr. Jack Davis of St. Mary's University in San
Antonio for automated assessment tools.
- Quantum Performance Systems
offers a newly announced world class performance management system called
PerformanceWizard, a powerful logical extension for further benefits from the
Birkman Method.
Integrating the above offerings into Knightsbridge's services has proven to be
of extraordinary benefit to our clients. The outcomes have included aligning
a team that had been dysfunctional for decades! Plus, we have assisted near
bankrupt entrepreneurs to grow and achieve a leading position in their
markets, and provide original investors with 10:1 returns in less than 7 years.
