Knightsbridge was founded in 1986 around a core conviction that there are significant
benefits for organizations and people of all types to continually seek to improve. We
believe that people within organizations are vital assets, just as financial, physical
and technological assets are. If effectively developed and managed, people become
strategic assets to help provide a strong impetus toward adapting to change and
achieving organizational and personal success.
As we have had the opportunity to work with both public and private sector
organizations, certain common themes emerge that support our underlying beliefs.
Most individuals want to be a worthwhile member of a worthwhile team. Given a
supportive environment, they are anxious and able to make a significant
contribution that will make their jobs more secure and their organizations
more successful.
For over 15 years, Knightsbridge has been working on the
needs related to dramatically improving performance. Not surprisingly, we
have found that no "quick-fix" magic formula will create positive change.
Within a framework of systems thinking, however, there are initiatives that
can be undertaken that will lead to continued improvement in the effectiveness
and efficiency of the enterprise. From our experience we have developed an
advanced methodology for identifying key success factors that focus resources
on meeting the needs of customers, employees, and owners.
